Global Village, started by Martin and Colette Lenehan, first opened its doors in 1989 and twenty one years on it is a popular spot for shoppers at Powerscourt House. The company offers high quality, stylish furniture and home accessories made where possible, from either recycled or 100% natural materials, many of which are designed and manufactured exclusively for Global Village.

Global Village offers furniture designs in dining, living and bedroom including; handmade, bespoke furniture from France; contemporary accessories in sliver chrome and jet black from the Netherlands; solid mahogany reproduction antique pieces with a beautiful burl walnut finish; a comprehensive French country hand painted bedroom and kitchen collection, and sumptuous sofas and luxurious leather chairs, huge on comfort and style. Martin and Colette’s range of products aim to provide a feeling of decadence with a hint of the exotic.
