About the Golf Club

Powerscourt estate has been owned by the Slazenger family since 1961. It is renowned for its magnificent gardens and the highest waterfall in Ireland. In the early 90’s an 18 hole championship course within the 1000 acre estate was conceived. 

Former Walker Cup Captain Peter McEvoy was commissioned to design the East course which opened in 1996. Following on from the success of the East course the West course opened in 2003; designed by David McLay Kidd. 

Today we have a very active club membership with approximately 900 members between the Mens & Ladies clubs
